DIGITIZATION OF ELECTORAL ROLLS AND PREPARATION OF EPICS:- COMTECH is the first local company which digitized the Electoral Rolls by updating 11 lakh records in Urdu language of Election Department and prepared EPICs(Electors Photo Identity Cards) of 11 lakh voters in a time bound manner in Jammu & Kashmir
COMPUTERIZATION OF MUNICIPAL ELECTORAL:- Under this project, Municipal Committees of
Kashmir division of 9 districts were allotted to us for preparation of Municipal Electoral
Roll from Assembly Electoral Roll 2014 besides Addition, Deletion and Modification of
Electors and Digital printing of Municipal Electoral Rolls using Digital Laser Printing.
COMPUTERIZATION OF PANCHAYAT ELECTORAL:- Under this project, Panchayat Halqa’s of District’s: Baramulla, Kupwara, Bandipora, Leh and Kargil were allotted to COMTECH for preparation of Panchayats Electoral Roll from Assembly Electoral Roll 2009 besides Addition, Deletion and Modification of Electors and Printing of 23 sets Using Digital Laser Printing. The entire Work comprisedof 8000 Halqas, 46 Blocks, 5 Districts with total Population / Electors of Around 10,00,000.
UPDATION OF BIRTH & DEATH RECORDS OF SRINAGAR MUNICIPAL CORPORATION:- COMTECH carried data entry of 6 lakh records of last 10 years of Srinagar Municipal Corporation(SMC) and completed the
project in the time bound manner of 3 months besides updating day to day records on daily bases.
RASHTRIYA SWASTHYA BIMA YOJANA (RSBY):- COMTECH in collaboration with National Insurance Company issued 50 thousand Smart Cards for district Srinagar and Jammu. The project was
monitored by J&K State Health Department.
COMPUTERIZATION OF DISTRICT AND TALUKA COURTS:- An initiative of Supreme Court of India e_court project where training of entire judiciary was done at District and Tehsil levels which include supply of Laptops spread across 76 locations of J&K.
Aadhaar & National Population Register (NPR):- COMTECH successfully executed Aadhaar & National Population Register (NPR) in 4 States (J&K, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh & Rajasthan). Under this project, 50 lakh residents were enrolled in the 4 states.
SOCIO ECONOMIC CASTE CENSUS-2011:- The largest IT project were information was collected through Tablet PCs of 1 Crore population spread across 18 districts, 100 charges, 20,000 enumeration blocks by deploying 4 thousand Data entry operators, 100 tehsil coordinators, 18 district coordinators in a Tablet PC. The enumeration phase was completed
in a time bound manner of 90 days, hence J&K state was appreciated by Ministry of Rural Development of India.
PUBLIC DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM:- COMTECH digitized 6 lakh ration cards in 3 districts of
Kashmir Division, 3 districts of Jammu division, and 1 district of Ladakh division under this project.
SETTING UP OF AADHAR PERMANENT ENROLLMENT CENTERS:- COMTECH in colloboration with
ECIL established permanent enrollment centers in Jammu Division along with 4 districts of
Kashmir Division. 1 supervisor and 1 operator along with Aadhar Kit was depted were established employing 234 personnel at each data center. A total of 117 PECs has been set up, employing 23 personnel.
