Manpower Supply to Electronics Corporation of India Limited (ECIL)
Under this project, 117 permanent biometric centres were established in Tehsildar offices for rural areas and Municipal Councils / Corporations for urban areas from December 2014.
Each centre is equipped with 1 certified DEO and a certified supervisor with 2 Aadhaar kits for biometric capture and Aadhaar generation, plus continuous NPR updating as per births and deaths.
