COMTECH was awarded the conduct of a Climatic Survey of SC-ST MSMEs across the state of J&K by the J&K Khadi & Village Industries Board.
Our skilled team covered all districts of Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh divisions, completing the entire survey process successfully within the 45-day period prescribed by the department.
SRS (Sample Registration System) Baseline Survey of Births & Deaths
COMTECH was selected by the Directorate of Census Operations, Jammu & Kashmir (Office of the Registrar General & Census Commissioner of India) for the SRS Baseline Survey across 10 districts of Kashmir Division.
Our team prepared survey unit maps, completed household listing and household schedules for 74 sampled areas — delivering comprehensive demographic data on the usual resident population within the stipulated 3-month window.
Housing Demand Survey (HFA 2020) — J&K Housing Board
COMTECH was entrusted with the Housing Demand Survey and preparation of housing data for 25 cities and towns in Jammu & Kashmir by the J&K Housing Board (State Nodal Agency, Housing For All).
Our team collected and digitised housing survey data in a structured manner, updating the findings directly to the Housing Board portal — enabling evidence-based planning under the national Housing For All mission.
National Family Health Survey Round-5 (NFHS-5)
COMTECH, in collaboration with KARVY Data Management Services Limited, Hyderabad, was commissioned by the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare (MoHFW), Government of India through the International Institute for Population Sciences (IIPS), Mumbai.
Our team surveyed across all 22 districts of J&K and Ladakh, gathering essential data on health & family welfare, fertility levels, infant and child mortality, and conducting anthropometric measurements including height, weight, and haemoglobin levels.
National Family Health Survey Round-6 (NFHS-6)
COMTECH was again entrusted by the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare (MoHFW), Government of India through the International Institute for Population Sciences (IIPS), Mumbai to conduct NFHS-6 in the UTs of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh.
Covering all 22 districts with a total sample size of 21,120, our team collected comprehensive data on health & family welfare, fertility, infant and child mortality, and key anthropometric indicators — building on COMTECH's proven NFHS-5 execution track record.
